Pros

  • Vertical and side-scrolling sections create variety and keep the pace brisk
  • Story Mode and Endless Mode support both mission play and repeat runs
  • Brick collection ties naturally into a fun set of power-ups, including Spinjitzu and cloaking
  • Strong Ninjago setting, with Borg Tower and the Digiverse as key backdrops

Cons

  • The endless-running design is relatively straightforward compared to deeper games in the same style
  • Some power-ups are limited to specific screen orientations, which can make the set feel uneven

LEGO Ninjago REBOOTED is a fast-moving arcade-action platformer that sends your ninja up Borg Tower to battle the Overlord’s forces, mixing classic LEGO brick collecting with quick reflex challenges.

It is best for fans of the Ninjago animated series, and for players who want bite-sized action in either a goal-driven story mode or a score-chasing endless mode.

Two styles of action that keep you moving

The game splits its platforming into a pair of distinct sequences: vertical climbs (including runs up an elevator shaft) and side-scrolling hallway sections. That switch in perspective helps the pace stay sharp, and it fits the core loop of dodging hazards, timing jumps, and dealing with enemies as you push higher through Borg Tower.

Story climbs and endless runs

If you want structure, Story Mode frames the climb as a mission against the Overlord, with the ninjas heading upward through Borg Industries toward a showdown. When you just want to keep going, Endless Mode focuses on lasting as long as you can and pushing your score higher, turning the same movement skills into a more repeatable challenge.

Brick-building energy through power-ups

Collecting LEGO bricks feeds into power-ups that can swing a tough stretch in your favor. The lineup includes options such as a Shield, a Magnet that pulls in coins, a Cloaking Device that disguises you as a Nindroid Warrior for a short time, Mega Jump, and Spinjitzu. There is also a Green Ninja power-up that turns you into Lloyd, letting you take on enemies with a golden katana. Checkpoints can add an extra power-up for what comes next, which gives runs a nice sense of momentum when things are clicking.

Ninjago flavor, right down to the cast

You can play as ninjas including Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane, with familiar faces and conflicts drawn from the series setting, such as Cyrus Borg and Sensei Wu. The action centers on Borg Tower, and the game also includes fights in the Digiverse, giving the theme a second backdrop that matches the season’s tech-driven angle.

How it comes together

At its best, LEGO Ninjago REBOOTED feels clean and direct: pick a ninja, react quickly, grab bricks, and lean on power-ups to survive the trickier stretches. The endless-running side of the design is more straightforward than deeper entries in the genre, but the vertical-and-horizontal mix, plus the Ninjago dressing, gives it enough personality to stay engaging.
